Professional Experience

Over the course of 30 years, Ms Hope Wee has been fortunate enough to learn and work in the areas of landlord and tenant, family and estate planning, as well as, general corporate and commercial work which have proved most useful in her practice of real estate law which include:

 

• The sale and purchase transactions of HDB flats, HDB commercial properties, JTC properties and private residential properties and the financing and refinancing of such acquisitions;
• The drafting and reviewing of finance documents for corporate entities;
• The conduct of legal due diligence on assets in connection of mergers and acquisitions of corporate entities;
• The negotiations for the acquisition and leaseback of non-residential properties;
• The provision of legal support in the leasing out of residential, office, retail and industrial spaces;
• Powers of Attorney; and
• Wills.

 

Ms Hope is a facilitator of Real Estate Practice for the “Singapore Institute of Legal Education.”

 

Education

Ms Hope Wee Cheng Imm was called to the bar in February 1987 after graduating with an Honours degree in Law from the National University of Singapore.

Hi Hope,

I’ve dropped the keys off at your office, and collected the title deed for the other property.

The other keys for the house (bedrooms, toilets, etc) are either inserted into the doors, or laid out on the kitchen countertop.

Also, just to inform the new owners, I’ve put in a request to SP to terminate the utilities account, and the power and water will be shut off tomorrow (May 16).
